When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. This is used solely for authentication — to identify your account and keep your data separate from other users.
All cigar data you enter (humidor, smoking sessions, tasting notes, ratings) is stored securely and associated with your account.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
aficio uses Google Gemini AI to provide cigar identification, recommendations, and tasting insights. When you use these features, relevant cigar data (not your personal information) is sent to Google's API for processing. Google's API usage policies apply.
Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS in the EU region). All connections are encrypted via TLS. Row-level security ensures that only you can access your own data.
Photos you take during smoking sessions are stored in a secure cloud bucket associated with your account. Band scan photos are processed temporarily for identification and are not permanently stored.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Under GDPR, you also have the right to access, correct, or export your data.
aficio uses only essential cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
